Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 19, 2026
1. Introduction & Overview
At Image Resizer (accessible from https://image-resizer.in), your privacy is of paramount importance to us. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information that is collected and recorded by Image Resizer and how we use it, as well as our fundamental commitment to client-side data privacy.
2. Core Principle: 100% Client-Side Local Processing
Unlike conventional online image processing services, Image Resizer does not upload, copy, store, or transmit your uploaded files to any remote server.
All image modifications (resizing, compression, format conversion, black & white filtering, cybergrind generation, 3D STL mesh calculations, PDF generation, and vector tracing) and calculator executions happen strictly inside your web browser's local sandbox utilizing HTML5 Canvas, Web Workers, and the File API. Once you close or reload your browser tab, all transient data in memory is erased.
3. Information We Collect
Since we do not require accounts or logins, we do not collect personal names, passwords, home addresses, or phone numbers. The limited data we may encounter includes:
- Server Log Files: Like most websites, our web hosting servers automatically record standard HTTP request logs (IP address, browser user-agent, referring/exit pages, date/time stamp). These logs are used solely for analyzing trends, administering the site, and defending against DDoS attacks.
- Local Storage: We use your browser's
localStoragesolely to remember your chosen visual theme (Dark Mode vs Light Mode). This preference remains locally stored on your machine.
4. Cookies & Web Beacons
Image Resizer uses standard browser cookies. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device to help analyze web traffic or store user preferences. For comprehensive details, please review our Cookie Policy.
5. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising
We may partner with third-party vendors, including Google, to serve advertisements on our website.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to Image Resizer or other websites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page at optout.networkadvertising.org.
6. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to external third-party websites or resources. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us; therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Protecting children's privacy online is especially important. Image Resizer does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information on our website, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly remove such records.
8. User Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you are entitled to rights including:
- The right to access and receive information about your personal data.
- The right to request data erasure or rectification.
- The right to object to or restrict processing.
Because Image Resizer does not store user files or personal identities on any server, there is no personal media or identifying database for us to provide, monetize, or disclose.
